From the first print sketch to the photo that appears on the product page: Aitana follows the collection throughout the entire process.

Textile design and illustration

She shapes the prints in each collection: concept, pattern, repeat and colour adjustment until the fabric looks exactly as it should.

Blog layout

She shapes the blog articles: hierarchy, imagery and reading rhythm, making sure every piece reflects the brand identity.

Campaigns and social media

She prepares marketing campaigns and social media assets, from the initial concept to adaptations for each format.

Support on photo shoots

She develops the concept, prepares and styles the set at our facilities. Working alongside the photographer is where the best ideas come to life.

I love music and listen to lots of different styles. If you saw my Spotify playlist, it would make no sense at all. It is hard to choose one style or artist, but if I had to, I would go with rock and Arctic Monkeys.

I get completely hooked on Agatha Christie mysteries.

Watch

There is no film that has particularly stayed with me, but when it comes to TV series, without a doubt I would choose Friends. It is my favourite. I must have watched it more than 100 times. I am not joking.

Visit

Los Genoveses beach in Almería. More specifically, the cliffs at Los Genoveses are where I find the greatest sense of peace.

Eat

Wow! This one is easy: anything with cheese! But if I have to choose just one dish, it is my grandma’s baked rice.

Talk

Happyfriday has given me the opportunity to enter the world of textile design and illustration, which I love. I have also made some very good friends here.

Not long after I joined, the whole company went to Alcalá del Júcar for an outdoor adventure trip. It was so much fun. Years have passed and we still remember things that happened and cry with laughter. To me, happyfriday means design, teamwork and constantly improving.

Brainstorming

Trends, colour, archives, travel and what she sees on the street. She searches and filters inspiration from everywhere until the collection idea emerges.

Print, colour and sample

Pattern repeats and colour tests are checked against the physical fabric sample before anything is approved.

Photo shoot

Concept, preparation and styling of the set at our facilities. Together with the photographer, the collection becomes the images you see on the website.
