Christmas tea towels for cooking together

At Christmas the celebration starts in the kitchen. It is where Christmas Eve dinner is made, where someone tastes the sauce too early and where half the family ends up gathered, even when there is room in the living room. That is why the kitchen deserves dressing up too.

Our Christmas tea towels are made of cotton and have a loop to keep them to hand. There are prints for every way of celebrating, all designed in Cocentaina and made in Spain. And for the rest of the year, there are our everyday tea towels.

Christmas kitchen towels: from the hob to the table

A tea towel works all day, and even more at Christmas. These are its jobs over the festive season.

Hands, dishes and glasses. On days with lots of meals, it helps to have one towel for each job.

Always to hand

The sewn-on loop lets you hang it from the oven door or a hook, in sight and easy to grab.

03

Covering the bread

For covering the bread, resting dough or the tray of sweets until dessert.

04

Bringing it to the table

Lining the bread basket, the Christmas print moves from the kitchen to the table.

Design notes

From our creative studio in Cocentaina, Alicante

The kitchen celebrates too

Few things get used as much at Christmas as a tea towel. It deserved a good design.

We designed these festive tea towels for the holiday kitchen, the one full of people and pans. So there is a bit of everything: classic prints with fir trees and gold, and more playful ones for anyone who celebrates in style. Digital printing lets us take every line and every colour onto the cotton just as they were drawn.

How we work

Every design is created in our studio in Cocentaina (Alicante) and printed and sewn in workshops in Spain. Digital printing works like a large-format printer: it applies the ink directly onto the fabric. That is why it allows prints with many colours, gradients and fine detail. All our textiles are certified OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Class I (no. 2021OK1618): AITEX, an independent laboratory, tests them for substances harmful to health.

Christmas tea towels: frequently asked questions

What are the Christmas tea towels made of?

100% cotton. Cotton is a soft, natural fibre that dries well. Each product page gives the composition and fabric weight.

What size are the tea towels?

They measure 70×50 cm and come in packs of 2, each towel with a different design. All of them have a sewn-on loop for hanging by the hob or on the oven door.

How do you wash kitchen towels?

Machine wash at 40 °C maximum. Short spin, no bleach and no soaking. They can be tumble dried on a short cycle and ironed at 150 °C maximum.

How do you get rid of smells in kitchen towels?

Smells usually appear when a towel is left damp and folded. Hang it open after use, change it often on busy cooking days and machine wash it at 40 °C. Avoid soaking it.

How many tea towels do I need for Christmas?

On days of long meals it helps to have several to hand: one for hands, one for drying dishes and one for the bread. That way you can rotate them while some are in the wash.

Can tea towels be used on the table?

Yes. A printed towel can line the bread basket or cover the bread and sweets until they reach the table. That way the kitchen and the table share the same colours.

Are tea towels a good Christmas present?

Yes, especially as a Secret Santa gift or for whoever cooks on Christmas Eve. Pair them with a Christmas tablecloth to give the whole table.
