01

what cookies are

A cookie is a small file of information that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They serve very different purposes: remembering that you’re logged in, keeping your cart, understanding how you browse or showing you advertising more in line with your interests.

Alongside cookies we use other similar technologies (such as pixels), and in this policy we refer to all of them as "cookies".

02

who is responsible

The party responsible for the use of cookies on this website is HAPPY FRIDAY, S.L., with tax ID (NIF) B54660980 and registered address at Avenida Alicante, 70, 03820 Cocentaina (Alicante), Spain.

For any questions, write to us at hola@happyfriday.es or call us on +34 965 599 956.

03

what types of cookies we use

They can be classified in several ways:

by who manages them

  • First-party: set by us from our own domain.
  • Third-party: managed by other companies whose services we use (for example, analytics or advertising).

by how long they last

  • Session: deleted when you close the browser.
  • Persistent: they stay for a set time until they expire or you delete them.

by what they’re for

  • Strictly necessary: essential for the site to work (logging in, keeping the cart, paying securely). They can’t be disabled.
  • Statistics: they help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We don’t use this information to identify you personally.
  • Preferences: they remember your choices, such as language or currency.
  • Marketing: they serve to show you more relevant advertising on and off our website.
04

why we can use them

Strictly necessary cookies are used because they are essential to provide the service you request.

The rest (statistics, preferences and marketing) are only activated if you accept them in the cookie banner, in accordance with the GDPR and Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSICE). You can accept, reject or configure them, and change your decision whenever you want.

third-party cookies and data outside europe

Some of the providers we use, such as Google and Meta, are based in the United States. When you accept their cookies, your data may travel there.

These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework approved by the European Commission, which recognises that the United States offers an adequate level of protection for your data.

Each provider processes your data according to its own privacy policy. Third-party cookies are also governed by those policies, which you can consult here: Google, Meta y TrustedShops.

07

how to manage or disable them

You can change your cookie decision whenever you want from the cookie settings panel on the site (the "Configure cookies" link that appears in the banner).

You can also block or delete them from your browser. Here are the instructions for the most common ones:

Please note that if you disable necessary cookies, some parts of the site may stop working (for example, the cart or checkout).

Disabling personalised advertising

In addition, some providers let you disable ad tracking directly from their own pages:

08

changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the law or the services we use change. We recommend reviewing it from time to time to stay up to date.
