The Christmas holidays, especially children's, are long, so it's also handy to organise activities they can take part in to keep them entertained.

Some fun things to do together
From the sure-fire fun of baking to the creativity of an afternoon of plays, Christmas is perfect for making the most of family time or time with friends.
An afternoon making Christmas biscuits with charming cutters or trying out a new sponge cake recipe can be ideal entertainment.
If you want to give the occasion a more festive touch, we have some tablecloths and tea towels with Christmas motifs that are perfect for it.
Another very creative and comforting activity is making our own Christmas ornaments, a few paper or ceramic pieces to hang on our tree. Plus, each member of the family can put their own stamp on theirs.
There are also lots of tutorials on Pinterest or Instagram on how to make a beautiful Christmas wreath with natural elements. Twigs, pine cones, cotton, flowers, etc.
A movie session with hot chocolate or popcorn
Another Christmas classic is gathering around the TV to watch a festive film together. Although every year there are new romantic comedies or family farces, the classics are always there, filling us with nostalgia.
It can be a great opportunity to show our children, nieces or nephews some of our favourite Christmas films from childhood.
Home Alone, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Santa Clause, Elf or Love Actually can be a good choice for a Christmas movie afternoon.
What would you have with it? A hot chocolate and something sweet, or a few buckets of popcorn?
You could also put a twist on the plan to make it even more special and use a projector. You can all lie on the floor with cushions, blankets or comforters to get really comfy and... have a great time!

A chance to show off your talents
Another brilliant plan for Christmas at home is to put on a recital or a talent show, or prepare a play.
Whenever we watch documentaries about artists, actors or musicians, there are always images of them as children, dressed up, singing or acting out a comedy scene.
If your children love putting on a show, prepare a session with them to show off their potential as performers!
They'll always remember it and will love having you as collaborators or as an audience.
Wearing costumes for the occasion or improvising a story will be great fun!
On the other hand, it's also nice to have moments when each member of the family devotes themselves alone to what they enjoy most, whether that's reading, writing, drawing, games, cooking, gardening, DIY…
