Monotony can lead to tedium and boredom. Therefore, introducing some changes in our lives, from time to time, can be a good idea. And a simple way to give a little twist to our surroundings is, for example, to change the decoration of our room. In fact, a few simple changes may be enough to transform our bedroom completely.
Our bedroom is usually our most intimate and personal space in the whole house, so making a change is something that will make us feel better. That is why we cannot settle for adding a simple detail. We talked about reinventing ourselves. But do not be afraid that we will not turn your bedroom upside down and you will see that with very little you can get extraordinary changes.
Place the furniture in a different way
Looking for changes does not necessarily mean getting rid of everything old. Many times, playing with what we already have but giving it a different order may already be enough to get a totally radical look.
And we don't just talk about changing the furniture and accessories in your room. You can use furniture from other rooms. On many occasions we don’t take full advantage of a piece of furniture or a space due to poor distribution and time and custom have left it that way. Well, go ahead and experiment! Play with lighting
Most of the times, we use to decorate our bedrooms with a large ceiling lamp and a couple of table lamps on the bedside tables. Instead, with a few simple changes in lighting we can achieve great changes in any room.
Nowadays, in one room we can find different spaces: a sleeping area, a study area, a dressing room, etc. Each one needs its adequate lighting. Doing it correctly and with a little imagination, will not only allow you to differentiate them better, but that will make the stay seem bigger.
Family photos and joyful moments
Psychologists say that surrounding ourselves with images of our family and those joyful moments we have lived together help us to evoke the feeling of comfort and warmth. It is not necessary that we fill all the walls with photographs of the family and the dog, but we can find a lot of fun and creative ideas with which to decorate an empty wall with our favorite images.

Plants and flowers decorate, refresh and transform space. They are perfect alone or in groups, natural or artificial. For example, a large plant is ideal for filling those small corners which are difficult to decorate.
On the other hand, small floral arrangements are perfect to distribute throughout the room: on the bedside tables, on the console, on the sideboard. You can also combine several kinds of plants and flowers and give your bedroom a more jungle look.

Usually, the walls are the eternal forgotten in our decoration. If they are not white, in the best cases they are relegated to be painted in a color chosen years ago. And the truth is that they are a world of possibilities: wallpaper, paintings, photographs, murals, tapestries, mirrors, moldings, metal panels, shelves, vertical gardens, trophies, wall stickers, etc.
The key is to choose pieces or accessories that match with the decorative style of our room, using the same color to integrate the decoration of our walls.
