Tell me a story

I still remember with nostalgia when my grandmother gathered all her grandchildren to tell us a story. Nowadays, children spend so long with new technologies, but it is important to go back to such beautiful customs as in which the grandmother told us the most fantastic stories that attracted all our attention. 

One may think, that over the years and all the technological advances, the children of today would no longer feel the same attachment for the old stories, for the classic tales of a lifetime. But it is a joy to discover that, despite everything, our children still want to hear a good story before going to sleep, they keep on dreaming of the same characters that we dreamed of at their age and that, as soon as they learn to read, the first books they ask for are the same stories that the grandmothers told us. 

Of course, things have changed a bit, and now, the stories of princess, heroes, villains or knights coexist in our imagination. But all these classic characters continue to have a very important place in our children's hearts. Therefore, on Happyfriday with our collection Mr Fox we want to give you the opportunity to decorate your room with the characters and motifs of their favourite stories. 

In today's article we will review some of Mr Fox's most representative collections on a small trip to the classics of our childhood: 

With the Mirror Mirror collection, Mr. Fox takes us to the magical world of princesses. This time to the story of Snow White, so the main characters are the little princess and the funny seven dwarfs. One motif that appears in this collection is the apple bitten by Snow White that will induce her into a long dream.

Our Nanny collection recreates the world of the most special babysitter in the world (flying over the sky in London) and various icons of this magical story that fascinates young and old. 

The Little Prince, a novel published by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry in 1943, is the most read and translated book written in French, and one of the bestseller books of all time. A childish but profound work that deals with loneliness, friendship, love and loss and that in Mr Fox we honour the Le Petit Prince collection.

The young Prince will decorate your son's room surrounded by his best friends and the incomparable landscape of all the worlds he has explored.

The Tea Time design brings us, with a casual and fun touch, the surreal adventures of the lost girl in the fabulous Wonderland, and she does it by surrounding us with the most charming characters in the story: the Mad Hatter and the Pink Cat, always smiling.

The Long Braid design is inspired again by princesses and knights stories, this time in Rapunzel's story, the story of the beautiful locked girl on top of a tower and obliged to drop her long blond hair by window.

The main character of Mr. Fox's Wooden Puppet design is the endearing Pinocchio, whose adventures amaze us since the late 19th century. We all know the story of the old carpenter who builds a puppet shaped like a child that comes to life, and that when he lies his nose grows.

And finally, we end with one of the most magical stories in our literature, the adventures of the eastern prince and the magic lamp. It is a beautiful story of a thousand and one nights.
