Although many people are reluctant to let summer fade away, autumn is one of the favourite seasons for most people. Romantic, bucolic and beautiful, this new season is characterised by falling leaves, earthy colours and warm temperatures.

After the overwhelming summer heat, a cool breeze is comforting. In homes, rooms are prepared for the cold, beds are made a little warmer and cooler textiles often give way to bulkier ones, made of wool or cotton, sometimes with long hair, soft and fluffy.

If you haven't yet started to make the change of season in your home textiles, especially bed linen and cushions, here are some hints about the trends, materials and colours that will be in.

The colours that reign in autumn

In addition to browns or greys, this autumn in particular will be filled with earth tones. Ochres, mustards, earth tones and sandy colours will immerse you in a season that is cold outside, but is meant to be warm at home.

Get cosier spaces and rooms with the use of natural fabrics and these types of colours.

As far as textiles are concerned, wool is gaining ground over linen, but cotton is still the most popular choice. In our offer, all bed linen is 100% cotton.

To get you into autumnal reverie, we recommend some duvet covers or sheet sets from our catalogue that are ideal for this season.

Autumnal plain designs

For example, if you prefer bed linen without prints, the Basic range has two very autumnal options, in mustard and terracotta. Within this series you have duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases and cushions.

You can combine them with other complementary tones such as moss green, navy blue, pale pink, anthracite grey or, if you prefer neutrals, white and beige.

No fear of prints

In case you always prefer patterned bed linen, we have several interesting options for introducing autumn textiles.

On the one hand there are the Oxford designs with their beautiful pinstripe, available in grey or light brown.

On the other, the plant print of the Foliage design, which refers to the falling leaves and the mutation towards warm colours of some trees in autumn. This design, which includes all the necessary parts to dress a bed, has a schematic leaf print and the colour of the season, mustard, combined with black and white.

A bolder but very seasonal option is the Tie Dye design, with a beautiful and modern gradient that uses three shades: terracotta orange, greyish brown and white.

Proposals for youth bedrooms

To dress up a children's or young people's room, there is a design full of autumnal tones that we love and that is very popular among teenagers. It is the Mystical set, with a magical and esoteric theme. What do you think?

On the other hand, using terracotta as the main colour and opting for stripes, we have the Golden Lands design.

Extra: halfway between autumn and winter textiles

For lovers of graphic motifs and less conventional bedding, there is a charming set that could be somewhere between an autumn and winter theme. It is none other than the Mystical Winter bedding set.

With its beautiful watercolour print motifs of deer, fir trees and snowy landscapes, it looks like the most appropriate bedding set to dress up a cabin bedroom in the middle of the forest. It's beautiful, warm and elegant - do you like it? Last year it conquered many hearts, not at all icy...
