That's right, we know, getting back to the routine is not easy... as a series of circumstances, memories and habits from the summer come together that don't help us to catch up. Getting up early, taking on day-to-day tasks, work, thousands of emails to open, packing your suitcases..., in short, feeling that responsibility once again occupies an important place in your life. But all is not lost! There is still time to do something to cheer us up these days and recover the illusion... We can still give our home a facelift and, at least, make it a pleasant place worth coming back to every day. Today we give you some tips on how to be happy in your home, thanks to tidiness. Having everything organised is proven to make us feel more relaxed and "Happy". So, let's get to it!

Be realistic but Happy

To begin with, we must bear in mind that not everyone has the same resources (space, time, desire...) to achieve it. Happyfriday first piece of advice is to set realistic goals. In this sense, interior designers and experts recommend going "slowly" and letting our organisational side flow. A very clear example: check all the papers that accumulate in drawers, separate between valid and useless, recycle the latter, manage the former and, finally, file them, could be the first one. What do you think?

There is a lot of organisational furniture to keep everything in order. As well as being useful, it can be attractive, beautiful and with a lot of design. Choose the one that best suits the style of your home.

Find order where you never imagined

You can start by getting rid of unnecessary things that you keep at home and that only take up space. For example, clothes that you no longer wear (and can donate) or junk, old furniture, books and boxes. If you live in a city, it will be very easy to take them to an association, flea market or cultural exchange places that are still emerging nowadays. Another idea is to sell these items on different portals and apps, helping to give them a second life!

At the same time as getting rid of junk, you can buy furniture that is designed for tidiness. You know, the typical functional and comfortable ones that help us to organise everything that we don't want to be visible. Make use of shelves; they will help you to keep things out of the way and, on the other hand, keep them in sight, motivating you to have a stylishly decorated corner.

Other express tips

- Don't be overwhelmed: if you are a neat freak, it may cause you some stress to make a change to your home. Think that there is no rush and that the result will be worth it. In addition, the little TIPS we talked about earlier will help you feel satisfied and organised..

- If you find it hard to get rid of something, move it: we are talking about taking it to the typical storage room, to the country house, lend it to a friend or somewhere where you know you can count on it, but without having it at home, in between.

- Do you have a terrace? If it is covered, it is a good place to store certain things  during the autumn and winter months, which are hardly used. Of course, well lined and as long as they can be kept in relatively humid conditions, without deteriorating.

- Use common sense and read advice  from different experts or blogs on the internet.

If you turn certain tasks into habits, you will (always) have a tidy house and everything will be easier than you think. Go for it!
